Researching Your British Home Child In Canada

The following information is intended to give you some assistance in searching through records in Canada that may help you fill in some of the blanks in your "home child's" life. The primary resource is always the records of the agency which sent the child.

Going Back Is The Same As For Any Genealogy

Buy a good genealogy book which covers the country in which you want to conduct research. You might also want to check out the UK lists, such as the Workhouse list, or a list for the area from which the child came.
